The Wall That Heals
September 7 - September 10
The Wall That Heals is a 3/4 scale touring replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC. It will be visiting Sanford September 7-10 and the public is welcome to view it, and the accompanying mobile education center, free of charge. The Wall That Heals will be set up in the field across from Walmart on Route 109 in South Sanford. Volunteers will be on hand to help you find names. Bus transportation to and from the site will be provided by York County Community Action Transportation. Buses will depart from and return to the School Street Bus Shelter (at Sanford Housing Authority). Parking is available in the School Street municipal lot.
