Sanford Community Forest Meeting

A management plan for the 547-acre Sanford Community Forest on upper Oak Street is in the process of being developed.
Ideas on how the Forest can potentially serve a variety of goals, including outdoor recreation, wildlife habitat, education, carbon storage, hunting, timber and firewood production will be discussed. They will also discuss needed improvements to the preserve and how to achieve them.
The meeting will be a facilitated discussion that will inform Three Rivers’ prioritization of management strategies. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome.
