Program: The Roots Of Genocide

Presented by Dr. Robert Burnheim, this program will examine the nature of genocide – the large-scale, organized exclusion and killing of populations. He’ll discuss government and ideologically initiated murder during the following genocides: the Herero Tribe of SW Africa, the Armenians in Turkey, the Holocaust, the Cambodian Killing Fields, Rwanda, and, of course, the war on Ukraine. Dr. Burnheim teaches at U Maine and his research focuses on Eastern European Genocides.
