Join the City of Sanford Public Works Department for the 2nd Annual Sanford Springvale Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.
Important Information:
Fee: $20 per unit (5 gallons, 20 pounds, or a combination)
Eligibility: Sanford/Springvale residents with a transfer station sticker or current proof of residency
- Accepted Waste: Household hazardous waste only. No electronic waste accepted. Vapes/vape pens are allowed.
- Procedure: Follow signs and traffic cones to form a vehicle line at the lower gate. Stay in your vehicle; workers will handle the waste removal.
- Payment Methods: Cash, check, or card.
- Restrictions: No walk-ins, no business or commercial waste.
- Weather: Event will be held rain or shine.
Note: The Transfer Station will NOT be open for regular operations on this day.
