DaPonte String Quartet: Haydn & Korngold

The renowned DaPonte String Quartet will be returning to the Sanford-Springvale Historical Museum! Known for their exceptional performances and profound interpretations, the DaPonte String Quartet has captivated audiences with their dynamic and innovative approach to classical music.
This performance will feature the exquisite works of Franz Joseph Haydn and Erich Wolfgang Korngold. The program begins with Haydn’s elegant Quartet in D, Op. 20, No. 4, known for it’s wit and depth, and ends with the lush, romantic style of Korngold’s Quartet in Eb Major, Op. 26, No. 2, which beautifully blends melodic richness and effervescence.
