Franco-American singer Josée Vachon will be performing French Canadian rhythm and songs at the Sanford-Springvale Historical Museum, 505 Main St., Springvale, on Sunday, May 18 at 3:00 pm. Doors open at 2:15 pm.
Born in Québec and raised in Maine, Josée Vachon shares her Franco-American upbringing through traditional and contemporary folksongs from Québec and Acadia and through her own compositions. With 12 solo recordings to her credit, Ms. Vachon continues to perform and record the music that best represents her love of Franco-American culture. You won’t want to miss this concert!
The Museum is located at 505 Main Street in Springvale and is handicapped accessible. Tickets are $20.00 for ages 18 and up. Children are admitted at no charge. They may also be purchased at the door just prior to the event or during museum hours (Fridays 10:00 am – 4:00 pm and Saturdays 10:00 am – 1:00 pm), or by calling 207-651-1980.
