Press Release
The Aubuchon Foundation of the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts awarded the Rotary Club of Sanford-Springvale a grant of $2,200. This donation was part of the “WEAre The Difference” campaign from the W.E. Aubuchon Company. Troy Richard, Sanford Aubuchon manager and Sanford-Springvale Rotarian initiated the request for the grant.
The Aubuchon Foundation, the charitable arm of the 102-store W.E. Aubuchon Company based in Westminster, Massachusetts has donated over $100,000 to community organizations throughout the Northeast providing assistance to those most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Founded by William E. Aubuchon in 1908, Aubuchon Hardware is the oldest family-owned hardware store chain in America. With more than 100 stores in New England and upstate New York, they’ve been a local mainstay for generations. Their company philosophy is “to serve those who depend on us and build on our heritage with passion and humility.”
The Sanford-Springvale Rotary Club is most grateful for this grant and will use the funds to support individuals and organizations in our community.
