Monday, November 23: Red Cross Blood Drive

North Parish Church at 893 Main St. will host a Red Cross Blood Drive from noon to 6:00 p.m. At press time they had an appointment open for a power red donor.

Tuesday, November 24: City Council Meeting

The City Council will meet via Zoom at 6:00 p.m. Among the items on the agenda is a proposal to partner with the Maine Department of Transportation for the Preliminary Design Phase of the reconstruction of Downtown Sanford, and approval of up to $200,000 to pay for the 50% municipal match for the engineering costs of the project. Thursday, November 26: Thanksgiving Day

Wishing you and yours a very happy Thanksgiving! Don’t feel like cooking? Third Alarm Diner and Green Tea are open.

Friday, November 27: Spree of Trees

The Sanford Alumni Association’s 2nd Annual Spree of Trees officially kicks off on Friday. This year the trees are virtual, but the prizes are very real! Check out the website and donate $5 or more to win some great gifts for the whole family. A limited number of donations will be accepted for each prize package, so don’t wait too long!
