School Committee, 6:00 p.m., SHS Room A228 (limited attendance) and Zoom. The agenda includes further discussion of return to in-person learning, and a report from Nichole Ivey, Director of Sanford Community Adult Education.

Irish Legends of the Wee Folk, 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. Presented by the Goodall Library. Nationally-known actor Terry Lynch shares folktales from the Emerald Isle which bring to life the traditions of fairies, banshees, and leprechauns. A brief telling of the life of St. Patrick will be included as well. The program is geared for adults and children ages 7 and up. Zoom link.

Tuesday, March 16

City Council, 6:00 p.m. via Zoom. The agenda includes several public hearings on renewal of marijuana grower/cultivator licenses; purchase of new equipment for the Public Works Department; sale of land at the Airport; and amendment of the Solid Waste Fees ordinance.

Wednesday, March 17

Planning Board Work Session, 6:00 p.m. via Zoom. Agenda.

Budget Committee, 6:00 p.m. via Zoom. This is the joint public hearing on the School and City budgets. It will be broadcast on Channel 26 and by WSSR-TV as well.
