Tuesday, February 16

The City Council will meet at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom. There is a lengthy agenda, including approval of moving the Fiscal Year 2022 Municipal Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program as presented to the Budget Committee for review; review and approval of 5-year contract extension with Casella; and review and approval of a 5-year contract renewal with EcoMaine, including a $1 increase in the price of Pay As You Throw bags to offset increased recycling costs. Wednesday, February 17

Sanford High School Boys Basketball games, streamed on WSSR-TV: First Team at 10:00 a.m., JV at 11:30 a.m., Varsity at 1:00 p.m.

The York County Commissioners will meet at 4:30 p.m. at the York County Government building in Alfred. Limited in-person attendance; also on Zoom. They will hear an update on the progress of the new Sanford vaccine center. The full agenda, with instructions for public access, is here.

The Planning Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. The agenda includes a proposal by Harrison Development for a new 4-unit office/warehouse building on Community Drive.
