Classic Rock: a New Year’s Eve Party, 7:00 p.m., Sanford Performing Arts Center, 100 Alumni Blvd. Celebrate the New Year with this four-piece rock band, a 20-piece orchestra, and a pair of powerhouse lead singers who belt out the best ’70s and ’80s rock songs that you sing in your car at the top of your lungs when you think no one is watching! The set list includes unforgettable hits by Journey, Pat Benatar, Boston, Heart, Kansas, Stevie Nicks, The Electric Light Orchestra, and many more. Red Carpet New Year’s Eve Party, 8:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., Smitty’s GameLAB, 1327 Main St. 21+ event with Pro-Photos, Hollywood drink menu, DJ & dance floor, $5 Cosmic Bowling, 2 hr Unlimited Arcade, wicked cool open-air mirror photobooth with props, celebrity dress-alike contest with prizes, movie games with prizes and raffles, and of course, the red carpet.
