Monday, April 4
Charter Review Committee, 10:15 a.m., in person at City Hall Council Chambers and via Zoom. The agenda includes review of Articles IV-VII of the City Charter.
School Committee, 6:00 p.m., in person at City Hall Council Chambers and via Zoom. The agenda includes presentations on the SRTC Building Trades program and summer facilities planning.
Tuesday, April 5
Site Plan Review Committee, 9:00 a.m. via Zoom. The only item on the agenda is an application to subdivide the property at 4 Tebbetts Ave. into two lots and build a duplex.
Bingo, Sanford Elks Lodge, 13 Elm St. Doors open at 4:00 p.m. and games start at 6:00. Must be 18 to play.
City Council, 6:00 p.m. via Zoom. The lengthy agenda includes public hearings on the creation of a new TIF (Tax Increment Financing) district for the Upper Nasson Apartments; public hearing and possible vote on retail sales of adult-use marijuana; bonds for the matching funds for the International Woolen Co. cleanup and for Presidential Ln. construction at the Airport; two dangerous building hearings; and other items.
Wednesday, April 6
Kids Read to Dogs, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m., Goodall Library, 952 Main St. Sign your child up for a 15-minute time slot to read to one of the dogs. Call the library at 324-4714 to register.
Planning Board, 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. The agenda includes the Tebbetts Ave. subdivision (see Site Plan Review above) and request for one-year extensions on the 12 Roberts St. and Austin Place II apartment projects.
Thursday, April 7
Senior Food Mobile, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m., Crossroads United Methodist Church, 15 Grammar Rd. For anyone over 60 years old in need of assistance: produce for all, commodities for those who meet income eligibility requirements.
Sanford High School Variety Show, 7:00 p.m., Sanford Performing Arts Center, 100 Alumni Blvd. Hosted by the National Honor Society. Students/seniors $3, adults $5. Concessions available.
Friday, April 8

Lenten Haddock Dinner, 5:00-7:00 p.m., St. Ignatius Gym, 25 Riverside Ave. $12 for adults, $6 for children under 12, maximum $35 per family.
