Community Cleanup, 8:00 a.m. The Sanford Police Department Community Outreach Coordinator is coordinating a cleanup at the end of Bougie Lane, near the riverbank. It is expected to last approximately 2-3 hours. He is looking for volunteers to assist. If you are interested in helping, please contact Officer Eric Small at 324-9170 ext. 227.
Land Bank Authority, 8:45 a.m. via Zoom. The agenda includes acceptance of the bid for demolition of 12 Proulx Ct., update on 2021 licenses, and discussion of properties of concern.
Fire Station Feasibility Working Group, 11:00 a.m. via Zoom. The agenda includes discussion of station locations, public service announcements, and a revised taxpayer survey on Sanford Fire Station projects.
Design Review Committee, 6:00 p.m. via Zoom. The agenda includes discussion of outdoor seating and other updates at three Sanford restaurants.
Saturday, April 17
Rolling Thunder Drive-Thru Buffet, 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at VFW Post 9935, corner of Hutchinson and School Sts. Choice of 2 piece chicken dinner with corn and mashed potatoes; or American chop suey with garlic bread. Each meal also includes water and chocolate chip cookies. $8 per person. Proceeds help local veterans and their families, and further the POW/MIA cause.
