St. Thérèse of Lisieux parish is changing its Mass schedule starting April 30. The new schedule will be:
The First Baptist Church of Springvale will hold a Maundy Thursday service at 6:00 p.m. on April 14. Their special Easter service will be Sunday, April 17 at 10:00 a.m.
Jehovah’s Witnesses worldwide, including those here in Sanford, have been holding their meetings virtually through Zoom for the past two years. In-person meetings have now resumed at Kingdom Hall, 32 Shaw’s Ridge Rd. Sanford and Springvale congregations both meet at this location. The move back to in-person meetings coincides with two special events: “Where Can You Find Real Hope?” on April 10, and the annual commemoration of the death of Jesus Christ on April 15. Both of these gatherings will feature live speakers. No collections are ever taken.
Redeemer Lutheran Church will hold its Easter Sunday Sunrise service on April 17 at 6:30 a.m. at its Sanford location, 1725 Main St. (in the Airport Plaza), led by Pastor Rev. Timothy Sandeno.
The Sanford Islamic Center has moved! It is now located in the back of the NSF & Co. gift shop at 906 Main St., Suite B.
