Razor Blades in Pizza Dough Found at Sanford Hannaford in August

The Portland Press Herald and Bangor Daily News are reporting that two packages of Portland Pie Co. pizza dough purchased at the Sanford Hannaford store in mid-August were found to contain razor blade fragments. In one case, the customer returned the dough to the store, and in the other, just a fragment. The Sanford Police are looking for the owner of a dog, described as a dark bulldog, that bit an elderly woman on William Oscar Emery Drive near the dog park on Saturday around 4:00 p.m. They need to ascertain if the dog is up to date on vaccinations, otherwise the bite victim will need to undergo a series of painful rabies shots. Task Force Lending a Hand to Sanford’s Homeless

At the City Council's August 4 meeting, Sanford Police Officer Eric Small spoke about the work that he and Officer Paul Goldsmith are doing with the city's Homeless Task Force. From the Sanford Police Department: On July 17, 2020, at approximately 2:23 a.m., officers responded to the Mid-Town Mall, 890 Main Street, for a reported burglary. A passerby reported the front window of the Family Dollar store had been smashed out.
