The Sanford Backpack Program has a new initiative for the upcoming holiday season, and they need your help. The goal is to put together 100 “Boxes of Joy” filled with holiday goodies to be delivered to the families participating in their weekly backpack program. Each box should contain all 30 items on the list below. You can put items in your box one day at a time, or do the whole month now. Sponsor a box as a family, as a book club, as co-workers, as neighbors – and help make the holidays happy for our neighbors in need!
You can use your own box (a grocery store banana box is the right size) or email SBP@strongersanford.org to get a specially gift-wrapped box for your collected items. They will pick up the box at the end of the month, too!
