Southern Rail will once again showcase its bluegrass musical abilities at the Sanford-Springvale Historical Museum on Sunday, April 13, at 3 pm. The band, a favorite of local folks, offers high energy and harmonies with bass, banjo, guitar and mandolin selections.
Tickets are $20 for ages 18 and up, free for children. They’re available from southern-rail.eventbrite.com and at the museum during regular hours (Fridays 10 am to 4 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 1 pm) or at the door before the performance. Doors will open at 2:15. The museum is located at 505 Main St. in Springvale and is handicapped accessible.
