2021 Holiday Hours for City Services, Groceries & Health Care

City Services

All City of Sanford offices, and the Sanford Water District office, will be closed Friday, December 24, and Friday, December 31.

Trash and recycling will be picked up on the usual days through the holidays.

The Transfer Station will be open regular hours on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, and closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Goodall Library will be closed December 24 and 25, and January 1. They will be open regular hours on December 31.

Springvale Library will be closed December 24, 25, and 31; and January 1.

The Sanford Sewerage District office will be closed December 23, 24 and 31.

Health Care

The York County EMA Vaccine Clinic at 1364 Main St. will be closed December 23-26. The week after Christmas it will be open Tuesday, December 28 and Thursday, December 30 from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. It will be closed December 31 through January 2, and resume its regular schedule on Tuesday, January 4 from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Southern Maine Health Care’s Walk-in Clinic at 25A June St. will close at 5:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and be closed on Christmas Day. It will close at 5:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and be open regular hours New Year’s Day.

The York Hospital Walk-in Clinic at 1474 Main St. will close at 4:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, and be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

CVS will close at 6:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. They will be closed on Christmas Day, and open regular hours New Year’s Day. Please note the Pharmacy closes earlier than the store.

Walgreens will be open regular hours on Christmas Eve, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Christmas Day, regular hours on New Year’s Eve, and will be closed New Year’s Day. Please note the Pharmacy closes earlier than the store.

Groceries

Hannaford will close at 6:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and be closed on Christmas Day. The store will close one hour early on New Year’s Eve, and the Pharmacy will close at 5:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Shaw’s Supermarket will close at 6:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and be closed on Christmas Day. The store will close at 9:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Walmart will close at 6:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and be closed on Christmas Day, open regular hours for New Year’s.

Jerry’s Market will close at 6:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve, open 10:00 to 2:00 Christmas Day. New Year’s Eve they will close at 6:00 p.m. and will be open 9:00 to 2:00 on New Year’s Day.

Roger’s Supa Dolla will be open 8:00 a.m. to noon on Christmas Day; all other days regular hours.

Paul’s Market will be open all regular hours through the holidays.
